SSPBI is seeking qualified ABA Therapists to work with children with Autism and their families in a home setting.

 

Position

 

  • Work one-on-one with children implementing the Behavior Support Plan designed and maintained by a BCBA
  • Document goal and program data throughout session
  • Communicate client's progress with ABA team
  • Establish and maintain positive relations with families and other team members

 

Qualifications


  • Must have minimum High School Diploma OR
  • Bachelors degree in Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology or related field 


Experience


  • Experience working with children with special needs
  • Engaging and high-energy teaching and interaction style
  • Must be reliable and possess strong multi-tasking skills


Additional Requirements


  • Valid CA driver’s license, current auto insurance and reliable transportation
  • Proof of TB clearance
  • Livescan (FBI & DOJ)

Job Description

SSPBI is seeking Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to supervise ABA programs.  Independent contractor and part-time to full-time positions are available.


Position


  • Supervise ABA programs in the home and community settings
  • Develop ABA programs to reduce problem behaviors and teach functional skills
  • Organize and maintain data collection for programs
  • Review data and write progress reports
  • Establish and maintain positive relations with families and other team members
  • Train and review staff
  • Parent/caregiver consultation regarding skill development and problem behaviors

 

Qualifications


  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology or related field
  • BCBA certification, required

 

Experience


  • Minimum of 2 years supervising ABA programs for children between the ages of 18 months to 12 years
  • Skilled in DTT, VB, PECS, FBA
  • Experience in conducting skill acquisition and functional assessments
  • Develop and implement positive behavior plans and strategies
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively

Clinical Supervisor

Job Description

SSPBI is seeking Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analysts (BCaBAs) to assist the BCBA (Clinical Director) and serves in a supervisory capacity to Behavior Interventionists, and other team members.


Position


  • Assists Clinical Director with progress and discharge reports
  • Assists Clinical Director with ensuring that individualized behavioral services programs are matched to client needs over time
  • Trains SSPBI clinical staff, parents and teachers to implement intensive ABA programs
  • Trains and supports SSPBI Clinical Staff, parents and professionals in the community to accurately  implement ABA treatment strategies
  • Trains and monitors SSPBI Clinical Staff and parents’ accuracy in data charting
  • Ensures overall agency wide Data Charting integrity, philosophy integrity, customer service integrity
  • Supervises SSPBI Behavior Interventionists Staff

Qualifications

  • Possesses a Bachelors or Masters in ABA/Psychology/Education or related field from an accredited university
  • Preferably BCaBA or BCBA


Experience


  • Has at least 36 months of experience in working with children with ASD and related developmental disabilities and 24 months of experience implementing all intervention strategies utilized by SSPBI
  • Has experience working with children with ASD & related DD in the home setting for at least 3 years
  • Has experience in working with a wide range of children with DD and ASD
  • Understands and can relay detailed and complex concepts of ABA to Behavioral Interventionists and parents
